John Langley, CPA

President & Chief Executive Officer

John has been involved in the healthcare services industry for more than twenty years. He founded MedScribe Information Systems, Inc. and has served as a director and as CEO since April 1992. John also founded Langley & Associates, PA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, and served as its managing partner from 1989 to 2006. Prior to MedScribe, John served as Director and CFO of Medical Management Resources, Inc., a provider of outsourced coding services. As President & CEO John provides corporate leadership for all facets of the company and is most concerned with the satisfaction of his customers. John received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida.

Lori Eytel Langley, RHIA

Vice President, HIM Services

Lori has more than twenty-one years experience in HIM. She joined MedScribe in 2003 after serving as Executive Director for the Florida Health Information Management Association for over nine years. Prior to joining MedScribe, Lori was the Assistant Director of Health Information Management at the Naples Community Healthcare System. While with NCH she was instrumental in developing and implementing the hospitals clinical data repository and electronic medical record system. Lori is an active member of the Florida Health Information Management Association (FHIMA) as well as the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Lori has served in several different capacities for both FHIMA and AHIMA. In 2002, she received the Distinguished Service Award and in 1993 she received the Outstanding New Professional from FHIMA. Lori obtained a bachelor's degree in Medical Record Administration from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.

Bill Langley

Vice President, Operations

Bill joined the MedScribe team in 1994 and has been in the medical industry for over eighteen years. Bill operates and maintains the back bone of MedScribe, the technical system, which is located in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to joining MedScribe Bill served as Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Naval Aviation Depot in support of Navy F/A-18 and A-6E Avionics Weapons Attack Systems. Bill continues to serve in many community leadership roles, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and on ASTM International Boards that are charged with reviewing existing industry standards and developing new standards related to healthcare.

James Casale, MBA

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

James is responsible for leading sales, marketing and business development functions for the company. He has 6 years experience in collaborating with customers to develop Health information Management business solutions. James' prior experience includes nine years with American Express Company, serving in Finance and Product Development roles. He is also a former U.S. Army Reserves Officer. James holds a B.A. from the University of South Florida and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Barbara Bermudez, RHIT

Client Services Manager

Barbara joined MedScribe in March 2007 and has over fifteen years of HIM operational experience. Prior to joining MedScribe, Barbara served as Director of HIM for University Community Health - Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital. Barbara was part of the University Community Health Network HIM Management team for over seven years. Barbara's experience includes transcription management and implementations, clerical operations, coding and release of information. Barbara is an active member of the Florida Information Management Association (FHIMA) where she currently serves on the board as a Director. In 2008, Barbara was the recipient of the Mentor Award and in 2006 she received the Outstanding New Professional Award from FHIMA. Barbara has personally managed over 20 new client implementations and serves as the relationship manager for key accounts.
