John Langley – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Langley has been involved in the healthcare services industry for more than 18 years. He founded MedScribe Information Systems, Inc. and has served as a director and as Chief Executive Officer since April 1992.
In addition to his position with MedScribe, Mr. Langley since 1989, has been the managing partner of Langley & Associates, PA, a full-service public accounting firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. He also served as director and Chief Financial Officer of Medical Management Resources, Inc., a Jacksonville based provider of outsourced coding services. He is active in several private foundations and associations.
Mr. Langley received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida.
Bill Langley – Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Langley joined the MedScribe Team in 1994 and has been in the medical industry for over 13 years.
Prior to joining MedScribe, Mr. Langley served as Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Naval Aviation Depot in support of Navy F/A-18 and A-6E Avionics Weapons Attack Systems. He continues to serve in many community leadership roles, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and on ASTM International Boards that are charged with reviewing existing industry standards and developing new standards related to healthcare.
Mr. Langley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1986.
Lori Eytel Langley, RHIA – Vice President, HIM Services
Mrs. Langley joined MedScribe in 2003 after serving as Executive Director for the Florida Health Information Management Association for over nine years. Mrs. Langley brings more than 15 year’ experience in HIM to MedScribe.
Prior to joining MedScribe, Mrs. Langley was Assistant Director of Health Information Management at the NCH Healthcare System in Naples, FL where she was instrumental in developing and implementing its clinical data repository and electronic medical record. Mrs. Langley is an active member of the Florida Health Information Management Association (FHIMA) as well as the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). In 2002, Mrs. Langley was recognized for her service in HIM by receiving the Distinguished Service Award from FHIMA.
Mrs. Langley obtained a bachelor’s degree in Medical Record Administration from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
Mr. Frantz joined MedScribe in 2006 and has been actively involved in the medical industry for over 5 years.
Prior to joining MedScribe, Mr. Frantz served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for ZyloMed. He is a proven executive with over 12 years of management experience in the area of sales, marketing, and customer relations.
Mr. Frantz earned an Associate Arts Degree from Santa Fe Community College in 1988.
Mr. Jurenovich joined MedScribe in 2006 with over 14 years of healthcare recruiting experience, the past 8 years focused on medical transcription.
Prior to joining MedScribe, Mr. Jurenovich was a staffing manager with QuadraMed and also recruited MTs for MedWare. Mr. Jurenovich was recently awarded the Greater Jacksonville Chapter – AAMT Outstanding Vendor Support Award and truly appreciates the hard work that a medical transcriptionist performs while on the job. Mr. Jurenovich has a unique insight into the needed experience and necessary skills an MT will have to possess to meet MedScribe’s requirements. Always available by either phone or email, all viable candidates will receive immediate consideration.
Mr. Jurenovich has a Bachelor’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Mrs. Colette Ware joined MedScribe in 2004 after serving as MT Supervisor with Spheris (formerly EDiX) for seven years on the acute care and radiology platforms.
Mrs. Ware came to MedScribe with over 33 years in healthcare documentation experience. She owned her own medical transcription business for 16 years where she gained a wealth of knowledge. Along with her years of experience and knowledge, she is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist and member of AAMT. Paramount in her work ethic is to provide maximum patient care.
Mrs. Barbara Bermudez joined MedScribe in March 2007. She brings over 13 years of HIM Operational experience to MedScribe.
Prior to joining MedScribe, Mrs. Bermudez served as Director of HIM for University Community Health- Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital. She was part of the University Community Health Network HIM Management Team for over 7 years. Her experiences include transcription management and implementations, clerical operations, coding and release of information.
Barbara is an active member of the Florida Health Information Management Association (FHIMA) where she currently serves as the FIRE (Find, Inspire, Recruit, and Educate) Committee Chair. In 2006 she was the recipient of the Outstanding New Professional Award from FHIMA.
Mrs. Bermudez graduated from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Independent Study Program in December 2000. |
